Flamingo supply chillies all year round but are renowned more for the supply of British Chillies from the Bedfordshire grower Genovese.
Genovese is one of the largest producers of chillies in the UK and has been known in recent years to be the grower of the ‘hottest’ commercial grown chilli. Genovese is known for growing such varieties as the Trinidad Scorpion and the hottest so far the Komodo Dragon which has a whopping 1.4million scoville rating. Flamingo works closely with the grower to develop new hotter varieties for the ever demanding ‘chilli hot head’ lover.
