Flamingo grow and source Alstroemeria from Kenya, Holland and Colombia. In the Mount Kenya region of Kenya the Alstroemeria enjoys high light levels that contribute towards the vibrant colours which include orange, pink, purple, red, yellow and white.
Alstroemeria are most commonly recognised by their distinctive inner striped petals, although not all flowers have these, and are available all year round. Varietal developments are now producing new striking varieties available across the entire colour pallet in both pure single and bi colours.
