Fine bean is an herbaceous plant that belongs to legume family (Fabiaceae). It originates from Peru, where people have been eating green beans for at least 7000 years.
We grow a range of different varieties in numerous countries around the world such as Kenya, Guatemala, Egypt, and Mozambique to ensure we have a year round supply. Fine beans grow in the form of bush that can reach 8 to 20 inches in height or in the form of 7 to 10 feet long vine. Fine beans produce white, pink or purple flowers which are usually pollinated by insects, when on the plant.
