Around 35% of Flamingo flowers and 30% of vegetables by volume are sourced from their own large scale, well-located and invested farms in Kenya and South Africa, providing significant advantages:

Trillvane, the Group’s in-house freight forwarding logistics business, provides dedicated 24/7 airfreight logistics management and capabilities

Flamingos’ balanced supply model also incorporates long-term sourcing partnerships with a global network of virtually integrated third party suppliers and outgrowers

Complementary supply base covers Africa, Latin America and Europe, as well as the UK for seasonal products

Flamingo Horticulture has agreed an exclusive, long-term freight handling agreement with Kuhne Nagel Trillvane logistics in Kenya, enabling the business to manage vertically integrated control, 24/7 of all freight to the UK and Europe.
Once in Europe, products are delivered through outsourced logistics providers to processing facilities for conditioning and quality control

3 large flower facilities and 1 produce facility in the UK, plus 1 facility near Frankfurt airport in Germany
Packing for bouquets, added value products (including D2C) and produce mixes, as well as consolidation of imported products to meet customer orders
Flexible production lines create over a million bouquets weekly
Computer-controlled stock and production with full traceability management

Finished products stored on-site in the UK, Netherlands and Germany in temperature controlled warehousing prior to dispatch
